S6A3-Y1MPTA—Being on the smaller side of commercial marine engines in terms of dry weight at 4,190lbs, this marine engine still packs plenty of power. It features 529 horsepower at 1900 RPM. And the 18.5L displacement reduces the burden on the engine while it’s at work. Also, like other Mitsubishi marine engines, its design is fully mechanical, making maintenance simpler.
Tier 2 Replacement
S12R-Y2MPTK-3—The S12R-Y2MPTK-3 also offers excellent performance in a larger Tier 2 engine at a dry weight of 11,731lbs. It balances power and efficiency in each of its features, from fuel injection technology to the advanced cooling system and turbocharger. And a displacement of 49L helps to keep everything running smoothly. Additionally, with 1260 horsepower at 1600 RPM, the S12R-Y2MPTK-3 has the strength and versatility to tackle a variety of jobs.
Tier 3 Replacement
S16R-Y3MPTAW—Featuring 1675 horsepower at 1600 RPM, this Tier 3 Replacement engine delivers outstanding power. It weighs in at 14,905lbs (dry) with a 65.37L displacement. The S16R-Y3MPTAW makes an excellent choice for tugboat, cargo vessel, and offshore use.
