These generators work to keep commodities such as asphalt, oil, or any thick chemical (petroleum) from solidifying in the barge via the barges boilers, so that the product may be discharged (via a barge pump unit, like our 173 HP Barge pump for smaller barges or the 429 HP for larger barges) to its storage tank terminals.
