Laborde Products is committed to providing engine solutions for the marine industry and is happy to offer the Mitsubishi S6R-Y3MPTAW-1. This fully mechanical Tier III Mitsubishi engine is rated at 684hp at 1800rpm and is designed for heavy-duty workboat applications, making it an ideal engine for both repower and new construction customers.  

The S6R-Y3MPTAW-1 has a displacement of 24.5 liters, which is 29% greater than the 600hp to 700hp class that the competition offers, operating at the same rpm. The larger displacement will provide less strain on the engine, allowing a longer service life.

Laborde Products and Mitsubishi recognize the importance of timely maintenance and serviceability, and that understanding has led to an offering of a 5yr/ 20,000hr warranty on the entire SR series engine line.

No computers are required with Mitsubishi’s fully mechanical design, keeping the power in the captain’s hands, not the computers.
